Excavator Bucket Teeth

Your Trusted Bucket Teeth Supplier

Bucket tooth is the worn part of the excavator, composed of the tooth adapter and tooth tip. Because the wear occurs in the bucket teeth, the digging bucket is protected. There are different models of bucket teeth for various uses, which makes construction easier.

According to the mode of production, there are forged bucket teeth and precision-casting bucket teeth. According to the installation mode, there are vertical installation types and horizontal installation types. According to the shape of bucket teeth, there are standard words, coal mine teeth, rock teeth, chisel teeth, and so on.

Bucket Tooth Types

Standard Tooth

A general purpose tooth with good penetration and wear material

Rock Tooth

Good penetration and wear life, used for gravel and coal

Tiger Tooth

Provides maximum penetration for compact soil, clay, and coal

Fish Scale Tooth

Wear-resistant, impact-resistant, used for rock chisel

Tooth Adapter

The bucket teeth installed on the bucket through the tooth adapter

Side Cutter

Improve penetration, increase bucket capacity and cutting width, offer side bar protection also

Vertical Installation

It is more convenient to disassemble and smash it directly from above, resulting in a large operating space. When excavating, the directly mounted tooth pin will be squeezed by the excavating material on the front. if the excavating force is large, the clamping force of the rising spring can not meet the requirements, which can easily lead to the tooth pin falling off, so although this structure is easy to disassemble, it is generally used in excavators with smaller excavators and lower tonnage.

Horizontal Installation

It is not very convenient to disassemble, and the side operation space is small, so it is more difficult to give force. When disassembling a single bucket tooth, you must use special long rod tools in order to disassemble and disassemble. During excavation, the front of the cross-mounted tooth pin will not be squeezed by the excavating material and can bear a larger excavation force, but when the rising spring is subjected to reciprocating lateral force in use, it is easy to wear and fail, resulting in the tooth pin falling off. Generally speaking, it is more common when the excavation force is more than 20 tons.
